The Turf Supper Club is just a block away!
It was established in the 1950's as San Diego's original grill-your-own supper club and bar. An 8-minute walk, this local hidden gem is a laid-back eatery tucked away in a convenience store serving Thai dishes to stay or go.
The owner and Head Chef Vijit Pipatkhajonchai’s family owned a restaurant in Bangkok that he worked at before the age of 15. At 19 he opened up his own restaurant in Bangkok. 25 years and 9 different restaurants later, 55 Thai Kitchen is born.
What makes 55 Thai Kitchen different is that this the restaurant gives back and regularly provides free meals for the children our community. It is casual, easy and delish!

Balboa park is just minutes from B street!

Beaches
There are several beautiful Pacific Ocean beaches in San Diego. The closest beach directly to the west is Ocean Beach (10 minutes). To the North are Mission Beach (15 minutes) Pacific Beach (18 minutes), La Jolla Beach (20 minutes) and Del Mar Beach (25 minutes). There are more beaches further to the North including Encinitas and Carlsbad. To the South are Coronado Beach (10 minutes) and Imperial Beach (15 minutes).
Your beach choice depends on what you want to do. Ocean Beach is great for lunch or dinner, shopping, surf, and taking your dog. Pacific beach has a big bar scene and is busy. Mission beach has a great board walk and small amusement park.
